Horses for Sale

Please note – we would prefer our youngsters grow up with other Icelandics (we can arrange livery here if required), or at least in a group of other horses.

Kalsi from Solva GB2018134006

This leggy youngster is going to be a stunning tall riding horse. He is a natural tölter who shows good walk, trot and canter in the field, and who will probably have good flying pace too. He´s a lovely colour – light buckskin with a silvery golden mane and tail, and light eyes. He´s friendly and easy to handle, by Óður frá Hestasýn out of our young brood mare Bessa from Blaenwaun. BLUP is 103. Full IHSGB passport, vaccinated, regularly wormed and foot trimmed etc.

Kiljan from Solva GB2019134006

This boy is my favourite of our 2019 foals. He is going to be a really big, strong chap, and of course he is silver dapple black. He’s very chilled and calm, happy to have a cuddle, and good to handle. His mum is our lovely mare Gæfa frá Syðra-Garðshorni (BLUP 107) and dad is Sveinn. He looks very promising and shows 5 clear gaits in the field, with good action. His full brother Magnús is already over 13.3hh as a rising 2 year old, so if you want a future weight carrier Kiljan is your boy. Full IHSGB passport, vaccinated, regularly wormed and foot trimmed etc.

Flóki from Solva GB2019134008

Floki is a lovely boy with really unusual markings. Mum Stelpa vom Stortal is a well bred mare from Germany, dad is Sveinn. Floki is good to handle and has really good action in all gaits and shows promise as a future competition horse. He is brave and curious and very well put together. He will be a good size, and is chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. Full IHSGB passport, vaccinated etc.

Elding from Solva GB2019234007

Born 2019, this chestnut filly is a real sweetie. Friendly but not pushy, she has a full IHSGB passport, vaccinated etc. Good to handle. Her mum Bessa from Blaenwaun is a big, easy family riding horse, while dad is our beloved stallion Sveinn from Solva. She should make a nice big riding horse with easy tolt. She is chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail and is a natural tölter, though she also has a good walk, and she shows nice trot, canter and flying pace.

Flekka from Solva GB2016234006

Born 2016, this beautiful chestnut skewbald filly is now ready to find her human. She is bold, curious and friendly, always the first to say hello. Good to catch, foot trim, worm, lead etc, she has seen plenty of traffic (no problem) and has been naturally raised in the herd on all sorts of terrain. She takes most things in her stride and has been a star in hand on our extremely scary “spook-busting” agility course!

She is very well-bred, out of Keila from Solva by Valentino vom Vindstaðir, with BLUP of 100. She shows clear tolt, trot and flying pace in the field, all with good action, and has a lot of presence. She is not the biggest horse in the field – currently standing around 13.1hh, but well put-together.

She has a full IHSGB passport and could be put in foal to our silver dapple black splash white stallion Sveinn.
