Mic Rushen has been artistic all her life. She grew up painting and drawing nature, and has worked as a professional artist for Marwell Zoo. Since moving to Wales in 2002 and acquiring a flock of Icelandic sheep (lots of wool!) she has taken up needle felting, and now produces all sorts of 2D and 3D artwork and sculpture in this interesting medium, using wool from her own sheep as well as local Alpaca fibre, Icelandic horse hair, pet hair and so on.
She is happy to accept commissions, and sells her work in local galleries and online.
